After her mother’s death, Agne, a 15-year-old girl, moves in with her father, a graveyard caretaker in Newark, NJ, and her older sister. Terrible things begin to happen when the girl approaches the graves of 13 people who died together in a massive fire in the Bronx and were never identified. Who is Agne?

SYNOPSIS
Agne, a 15-year-old girl, has just lost her mother and moves in with her father, a graveyard caretaker in Newark whom she hasn’t seen since she was five, when her mother took her to Brazil to escape something that was never explained. Buried side by side in the cemetery are “The 13 Souls”—thirteen victims of a massive fire that occurred in the Bronx in the 1970s. These people were found embracing in an elevator, charred beyond recognition, and were never identified or claimed by any family members. Agne meets Nina, her 17-year-old sister who was already living with their father. This is where the revelation begins of who these girls really are and the connection they have with the 13 unknown souls in the cemetery.

13 SOULS is a supernatural thriller and horror film that draws on real events to bring the story to the present day, following two sisters who embody a struggle between good and evil through reincarnation and possession. In the midst of it all, their father tries to navigate the present while living with the guilt of the past.
