“Flora” is a Brazil–Argentina co-production, featuring an international cast from Braziland the United States.

SYNOPSIS
In 1982, at sixteen, Flora is forced out of her home after becoming pregnant and suffering abuse at the hands of her boyfriend’s father. In the countryside, she finds refuge with her cousin Ana, and together they build a loving life around her newborn son, Tomás until, at five years old, he disappears without a trace.
With nothing to guide her, Flora keeps searching as the years slip by. Ana remains by her side, and together they hold on to the hope that Tomás is still alive.

Then, after confronting faces from her past, Flora uncovers a lead that takes them to the United States. With no legal way to reach him, they cross the Mexican desert on foot and enter the country undocumented, chasing a connection they cannot prove, but cannot abandon.

Meanwhile, far from everything he once knew, Tomás grows up without his origins, carrying only one fragment from his past: a lullaby he doesn’t fully remember, but that his heart won’t let him forget.

As time begins to run out, something starts to shift. A memory. A trace. A possibility. Because some bonds don’t break. They wait.
